A meditative tea experience inspired by awareness, silence, and presence.
We invite you to enter the summer season meditatively — with a cup of tea in your hands and a quieter state of mind.
The 7 Cups of Tea Practice is a guided tea meditation that combines relaxation, deep listening, awareness, and concentration. The group is intentionally small — no more than 7 participants — to create an intimate, calm, and focused atmosphere.
The session will begin with a short introduction to the practice and gentle guidance on what to pay attention to. Together, we will drink tea slowly and mindfully, focusing on:
– the taste and aroma of the tea,
– the warmth and texture of the cups in our hands,
– bodily sensations, breath, and inner state.
Quiet traditional Chinese music will softly accompany the practice, helping create a peaceful and meditative environment.
At the end of the session, participants will be invited to reflect on how their state shifted throughout the experience — before, during, and after the tea meditation.
The tea meditation will be led by Max Roiko, a dedicated tea practitioner whose journey with tea began in his youth and has taken him across different countries and cultural traditions. With years of experience and a deep passion for tea, he shares not only its flavours, but also the culture, atmosphere, and spirit behind each cup, creating a meaningful and memorable experience for participants.
No previous experience with meditation or tea culture is needed — only curiosity, openness, and a willingness to slow down for a while.
