The VU Confucius Institute organizes Saturday Chinese language classes for children up to 12 years. Child development specialists are unanimous in agreeing that it is beneficial for a child to learn foreign languages in addition to their mother tongue as early as possible.
According to these specialists, early learning of a foreign language can help a child to master it almost perfectly later on in life. After all, pre-school and elementary school-age children learn and process information very well, so learning Chinese can be a great brain exercise for them. If possible, we organize additional Chinese painting and calligraphy lessons for children at our institute, and we invite children to communicate live with Chinese-speaking teachers in day camps.
We invite you to register for the Chinese language courses for children taking place during the Autumn Semester of 2026.
